AL TILE system which is most commonly used among metallic finishing materials for ceilings indoors/outdoors of building architecture adopted CLIP-IN fixing method. Accordingly at the time of using it at external canopy and pilotti fear for its falling off is high. It had problem of falling off when wind was very strong actually. Canotile system being developed by Yoochang adopted screw fixing method thus its sturdiness was improved and wind-pressure resistance was secured. It also can secure beautiful external appearance by using 15 mm or 20 mm joint line.

Special feature of wind pressure resistant Al Cano Tile
* Sturdiness: By using SQ-bar frame it is strong against wind pressure.
* Beautiful exterior: It is concealed type and bar is not exposed.
* Safety: Sturdy and distortion free ceiling
* Incombustibility: Steel materials structure by means of galvanized steel plate
* Function for adjustment of level: possible for perfect levelness
(1) Setting up centerline of building: After accurate measurement of ceiling surface set up centerline after checking other work schedule such as lightline and position of diffuser etc.
(2) Installation of molding for preventing falling off
① After checking height of ceiling by drawing carry out marking by means of level device.
② Install molding for prevention of falling off along the marking. Install piece or driller pin at interval of 300 ∽600 mm.
③ After the time of installing finishing material as per Clause (9) fringe panel is made at site and place it on molding then prevent its falling off by pressing it down with SUS fixing clip.
Use 2 such clips per sheet.
(3) Strong anchor work
① At the time of strong anchor work: When centerline is set up mark part for fixing strong anchor (Ф9mm) at slab surface and punch hole with drill and fix it.
② It is ideal to make interval for installation as @900∼ 1,200 mm for strong anchor or insert in consideration of direction of installation of SQ-bar (upper part).
③ Caution: Pay attention to interval between anchor and insert and right angle. After installation insert may withstand pulling weight of 100 kgf or more. After embedding insert independently to slab then ceiling hanger bolt shall be installed.
(4) Wind pressure resistant bolt installation
① Fix upper part of wind pressure resistant bolt to strong anchor or insert and lower part of the said bolt is fixed with hanger and nut.
② Place where facility duct and other obstacles are present shall be reinforced according to drawing and specification and then start work.
③ Interval of exposure of upper and lower part of wind pressure resistant bolt shall be within 200 mm. After joining it with hanger and after attaching 2 lower part nuts length of exposed bolt shall be more than 20 mm thus prevents loosening of bolt by swaying.
(5) Installation of SQ-runner
① Along the marked line attach SQ-runner. Fix SQ-runner at interval of @500∽ @1,000 mm.
② It is required to pay attention to prevent slackening of height and interval between SQ-runner and SQ-runner.
③ In connection with facility such as curtain box attachment shall be made according to specification.
④ Note: SQ-runner may be omitted according to drawing or consitions at the site.
(6) Installation of lightline
Install lightline according to specification but it is required to have consultation with persons in charge of electricity and facility.
(7) Installation of SQ-bar (upper part)
① Connect hanger set and SQ-bar by piece anf fix it and isntall it within @900mm∽@1,200mm.
② Connect the connection part of SQ-bar by means of SQ bar joint.
③ Install SQ-bar not to be apart from wall or curtain box face more than 300 mm.
(8) Installation of SQ-bar (lower part)
① Mark centerline for works. Then fix SQ-bar sturdily to upper part of SQ-bar in right angle direction according to dimension of product and lightline by means of SQ-bar clip. At this time material of SQ-bar clip shall be special steel of SK-5 and make fixing of upper and lower part of SQ-bar firm.
② Interval for installation of SQ-bar (lower part) shall comply with drawing. When there is no indication on drawing then install it within 450 mm.
③ Level of installed ceiling frame shall be fixed accurately by water level or level device.
(9) Installation of Cano-Tile
① Before installing Cano-tile fix Main Joiner at lower part of SQ-bar with piece. Make Main Joiner cross lower part of SQ-bar in right angle according to interval shown in drawing.
② According to interval of main joiner attach Cano-tile to lower part of SQ-bar then attach Cross Joiner Clip and fix it with piece then insert Cross Joiner and finish it.
③ At least 5 pieces shall be fixed per tile.
(11) Installation of curtain box
① Manufacturing and installing products suitable to use according to specification (separate painting)
② Welding work is carried out concurrently therefore install work bench to enable safety in work and working in comfortable stance.
(1) Handling and storage of the product
① It shall be stored at a condition of relative humidity of 80% or less.
② To prevent any damage from water or moisture always keep it at dry and clean place.
③ Be careful not to damage corners
④ Maintain certain space from the wall surface and place spread sheet and then lay down water-proof sheet then preserve it.
(2) Environmental condition at the time of carrying out the works
① At the time of works temperature of 30℃ or less and relative humidity of 80% or less shall be maintained.
② The works shall be commenced after completion of joiners' works.
③ Before. during and after the works air-conditioners shall be operated so that proper level of indoors temperature and relative humidity are maintained.
④ The works shall be commenced after completion of all the papering and painting walls and ceiling.
(3) Caution at the time of carrying out works
Pipe-layng and electric works shall be completed before installation of Clip-bar installation and then works shall be carried out.
(4) Conditions for carrying out works
① The contractor for the works shall consult with the client with sufficient consideration of site conditions.
② While carrying out works at the time of appearance of any problems works shall be continued after sufficient consultation with the client.
③ As much as possible ceiling plan intended by the designer shall be observed.
